Rule 2.1. Information or Indictment
Effective January 1, 2024
A criminal case is commenced by filing a charging information or indictment, which must be of sufficient specificity to allow preparation of a defense and comply with Ind. Code ยง 35-40-5-12 and Access to Court Records Rule 5(C).
